About NYT Connections & How ConnectoWin Helps
NYT Connections is a daily puzzle game from The New York Times where you're given 16 words and must group them into four hidden categories. The challenge lies in spotting subtle relationships, some logical, some tricky.
How the Game Works
- 16 words appear on the grid.
- Group them into 4 themes of 4 words each.
- Each group is color-coded by difficulty: Yellow (easy), Green, Blue, Purple (hard).
- You have 4 chances to guess incorrectly before the game ends.
What the Colors Mean
- Yellow: Obvious or everyday categories (e.g. animals, fruit).
- Green: Slightly trickier; could include idioms or light pop culture.
- Blue: Abstract, phrasal, or logic-based connections.
- Purple: The hardest; often based on wordplay or obscure references.
How ConnectoWin Gives You an Edge
- Grouped Hints: Words are grouped like the solution—but hidden until you choose to reveal.
- Cryptic Clues: Light, clever hints that nudge you in the right direction.
- Explicit Clues: Clearer explanations if you're stuck.
- Tap to Reveal: You control what's shown, when.
Note: ConnectoWin is an independent tool and is not affiliated with The New York Times or the official Connections game.
